"Astronomers may have found giant alien 'megastructures' orbiting star near the Milky Way"

As if the news wasn’t getting ever more dystopian and scary by the day.

There may well be an alien civilisation that has harnessed a way to extract energy directly from the sun, just above the Milky Way.

I for one look forward to Barry’s nonsensical ramblings about the failed multispeciesism experiment and how no one will say anything about it because they are too pink and afraid of being labelled speciesist.

I am ready for the day we meet aliens.

The plan is to immediately shit my pants, and if it turns out that they bleed acid for blood, shit them a bit more.

I bet it’s just a shopping centre. That galaxy’s version of the Trafford Centre.

Pap prepares himself for the anal probing :lou_surprised:

He lives in 'pool, I thought the police up there did that as part of their SOP when harrassing innocent citizens…

So, solar power? We have done that!

It is not as interesting as a Dyson sphere, Super Michael, and for that reason, I’m out.

Cool. Tell them the Tories have it in for them and sit back.

What have overpriced hoovers got to do with all of this?

Is Ben Bova looking to promote some more books or have Arthur C Clarke’s heir’s looking to raise some more cash for the Sri Lanka poor?
