Baggies are very helpful to cover up the fact that you are wearing adult diapers thread

Anyone else heard that the real reason we didn’t sign that quincy fella was that he wasn’t prepared to play centre mid?

I think we’ll pass the ball around nicely at the back up to and including one of our 6 central midfielders but struggle beyond that. If we by chance can get Jack Stephens firing we may go a goal up before taking off an attacker for another midfielder.

Ralph and Les will take to the pitch at full time banjos in hand for the first performance of their explanatory single “Its all down to Virgil”.

4-1 to the baggies.

I’m now convinced that if we ever get a penalty we’ll pass it back to Macca to be safe

On a more positve not. Cyrille Regis life is to be celebrated on Saturday.

WBA have asked any Saints fans going to raise their scarves in tribute to him. Sounds like a nice idea for any of you fortunate (or not) to be going!

Team I would play:-

McCarthy

Cedric Stephens Hoedt Bertrand

PEH Lemina

JWP Boufal Tadic

Carrillo

Another fan drops the must play 442 mantra :sunglasses:

Doubt he will start Carrillo after that Echo interview about him needing time to adapt to our (lack of) style & movement

Debate.

It is a must win. But equally a mustn’t lose.

You are the boss.

Do you play both Boufal AND Tadic?

Decide.

Where does Tadic play best, on the left? Play him there, Beefs through the middle as second striker and Carillo up front.

If Carillo makes no impact bring Schlong on as an impact sub to cahse the defence down in the last 20.

Easy this football manager job isn’t it

Some one needs to show Southampton the way to Carillo not the Southampton way to Carillo

The last time I was in the sheep pen which doubles as the area under the away end, it was 2005 and we were in the bottom three. WBA were in awful form, it was February again and we needed a win. Saints battered them but missed a ton of chances and it finished 0-0.

We know how that season turned out, so I am staying well away this year. It has to be different tomorrow.

Yeah, I could live with that @goatboy

Let’s hope we don’t take the lead early and then park the bus for 75mins

I’m going for 1:2 to us (with Saints having 15 shots on target to WBA’s one shot.)

C’mon lads and lasses, it’s match day and I, for one, am excited.

Got a feeling in my water (but it might be dysentery !)

COME ON YOU REDS

Even Steve Jackson has been smoking shit …

There’s no way Cobs that we will score 2 if we only have 15 shots on target.

Hojberg dropped :lou_facepalm_2:

WBA 1 - SAINTS 2 is my punt

Yup, the guy is bizarre. Closer to the team that should have played against Brighton though.

Shame Hoibjerg dropped but that’s a decent and attacking looking team. Maybe he got confused and thought we were playing Brighton at home today?

Fair point @saint-cd

Nice and toasty here. Mrs C_S has the central heating turned up to the max doing her bit for global warming…
