The owner of the Farmhouse. (Or he runs it) big Ska fan.
I know that some of you have had a few pints there before games. I kind of knew him when I was younger.

Shame mate. Top bloke. Do you have any details, Kev?
Not at this stage. Only know through old school friend on Facebook.
Gutted. Top man. Many a good time had there.
Just had this confirmed having, heard a rumour on Tuesday.
Seems on Monday night, he told the barstaff he wasnāt feeling well and went upstairs to his bed and was found dead by them later.
Apparent heart attack.
RIP
RIP Barrie. Wherever you are I hope the Doombar hasnāt run out.
He loved his music; ska and two-tone especially.
One of the best days of drinking I can remember was Rust Cohle and myself coming back from watching Saints, heading to the farmhouse to listen to a ska tribute band, eating barbeque food and ādancingā with Barry in the garden at the back.
Fantastic.
Bumped into him in Eastleigh last year. I was pissed (what a surprise) and out with the girls from work. Hadnāt seen him for a while and was staggered at how much weight heād put on.
I asked him what had brought him to Beastleigh. He said he was bodyguarding his (nephew?) as heād been in a spot of bother. He always looked like the happiest bloke in the world - who was about 10 nanoseconds away from being the most violent.
See you, chief!
I only really knew Barry from the Farmhouse, although heās well known on the Flower Estates. He loved āthe areaā around The Old Farmhouse, something we have in common. The place has a bad name, but my bro has a flat down there which I visit often and have never had any trouble. The Southampton Hells Angels chapter is based there; they do a fireworks display for all the kids on Bonfire Night.
I do remember that the whole Immigration Street weighed heavily on him for a bit. He was worried about how Love Productions were going to contextualise his comments. As it turned out, they didnāt broadcast anything too spicy. They got bounced out of the area.
Always a gent when I met him. The Old Farmhouse, and by extension Southampton, wonāt be the same without him. RIP Barrie.
