My vote goes to Derek and Clive Live. Always loved Pete’n Dud as I was growing up but this was pure drunken genius. An old work colleague of mine used to swear constantly. I had the tape going in the draw of my desk when he walked in and he was convinced I had taped him. It would have been in This Bloke Came Up To Me. Still creases me up today.

Down the Line. Radio 4. Whitehouse, Higson and all the other boys from the Fast Show.
The really cool thing was that in the early days, they never bothered letting people know it was a spoof.

Couldnt get the vid to stick but the teenage pregnancy part of Micky Flannagan’s Out Out tour is brilliant. You dont get many gags about fingering these days!

I’m not sure why, i think it was because the opening post at the tone, but i was only thinking of audio recordings rather than film. My earlier answer is based on audio recording only, as the thread was i intended. I have respect for the OP

In terms of recordings, as in sound only, I’d have to go along with Sadoldgit’s view. The original Derek and Clive Live must be one of the funniest things there is. Crude, puerile and utterly brilliant.
