Despite sorting out Everton’s defensive problems, it appears that BFS is still not setting the world alight in other departments. Goals per game are currently 1, better than Koeman’s 0.8 but less than Unsworth’s 2 and not as good as the teams either side of them - Leicester 1.5 and Watford 1.4. Passes 368 compared to 430 under Koeman in 8 matches. Touhes in the opposition box 13 BFS, 19 RK and 16 Unsworth. He has a lot to do to win the fans over still.

As long as a team is scoring enough to win / draw a game and get enough points to not get relegated then that’s good enough in my book. The number of goals per game doesn’t matter surely?

Exactly.

“1-0 to the Arsenal” springs to mind.

“1-2 to the other team” has a much more depressing ring to it.
