Hypothetical question. If your nineteen year old self saw this post, and was then told that is was written by a half-cut middle-aged version of himself alternating between heavy drinking and belting out Born To Die, would he still make the same life choices?

If that happened I would say whilst listening to Grooverider, Carl Cox and Tall Paul was blasting out, that ain’t a bad singer, ultraviolence was the album, born to die is good but this is better.

But I feel you do her a disservice. She’s a talents musician that makes great music. Totally accept its not everyone’s cup of tea, but she’s very good at what she does. She’s very successfully cared out a niche for herself. Good on her.
