The Cherries v the Indomitable Saints

You would have thought so but he’s strangely absent from the 3rd kit thread, ColinJB gets to play nerd with comments about panels being different etc…

I’m going with 1-3. A first half of battle and grind with both teams going in at the break with a hard fought one a piece. Second half we turn it up and get two early on. Bompey then battle on valiantly until the 105 minute when the ref finally accepts that they won’t score.

As long as we leave our back feet at city and attack little Bournemouth. No buses, no negativity just attack the fuckers with passion and barely supressed rage. Pace, power, quick devastating passing/movement and AGGRESSIVE INTENT.

2-1 to Bournemouth.

No nonsense same starting line up and formation as the Everton game, Pied in for Cedric IF he is injured.

Same as last year, they’ve had 3 games in a week and he has limited options for rotation and we will be fine.

Southampton nil.

Oh come on, we all know it will be another 6 months before we get another goal from open play we’ve got 5 in one week ffs

4-1 Saints. 1-1 at half time. Boufal to score a sexy little goal to get the team back up for it just after half time. Get your money on it*

*Disclaimer: I lost money betting on Saints to win against Man City.

The mandatory feel good video…

Harsh… but then again being blessed with length has always has served me well

So, who from this esteemed forum is going to be at the match tomorrow??

I will be watching it live from the South China Sea. in Stereo since I snaffled another TV for my cabin.

1-1

It was December last year that we had a very much needed shot in the arm, at Bournemouth, with a truly great away performance. Well even JRod scored a cracker, in our 1-3 win.

Just cannot see it this season.

I beg to differ @sfcsim it has a 1:2 win for us written all over it.

Make the most of my optimism - it’ll probably be gone by 3:15 tomorrow, give or take a few minutes of extra time.

After the midweek games and yesterday’s results, this is another massive game for us. Need to get 3 more points on the board ahead of some tough December fixtures.

Interested to see what side he picks, especially in midfield. Hojberg did very well against Everton but I can’t see him not picking Lemina and Romeu. Where does he play Davis if he opts with ML and OR? Was JWP injured in midweek or just rested/dropped? Fingers crossed my mate Redmond is too tired after getting 90 minutes and then sucking off Pep straight after the game.

I expect Austin to be restored upfront. Would still love to see him and Gabbiadini play together.

Cedric is out so will Pied come in from the cold and get a game?

Soooooo many questions!

Is everyone alright with the New Forest Derby?

Sixty years ago, it would have been a Hampshire derby.

Its not a Derby.

I still think of Bournemouth as the third division team that we play pre season to help fund them.
