I’m veering off pun material here for a little worry, but the one part of that story that really bothers me is this.
I don’t think Lisa will let me make the sandwiches but I’ll do the sweeping up.
I’m not claiming to be Jamie Oliver or whatnot, but I’ve slung a few sarnies out in my time. What is the perceived difficulty with Brett being handed butty duties? Have there been accidents in the past, involving fatalities or amputations or suchlike? Did Brett do for someone with a tuna and mayonnaise?
The other possibility is that Brett simply doesn’t wash his hands, and hasn’t since turning pro. Footballers are a superstitious lot, apparently.

lol yeah i dare say Lisa knows best - she’s married to him after all - but honestly, he must be full retard if he can’t even be trusted to assemble a simple sandwich! Especially at subway, cos although decision making was always one of his weaknesses, most of the heavy thinking is performed by the customers, at subway.
