was merely expressing mild disappointment that it wasn’t a higher profile signing.

Someone has got to fill the role vacated by KRG. As long as he can make bunny esrd behind someone’s head during TV interviews, good move imo.

Seems a bit odd to me. Why do we need a 35 year old third choice keeper? Surely that’s a role for the kids?

That’s not Stuart Taylor.

I used to work with Stuart Taylor.

He’s a grey-haired, short and chubby bloke from Yorkshire.

Can he play in midfield?

I just worry we are a bit light there.

No, he was too old when I last saw him. Must be early 60s by now.

The only bloke I knew with a similar name used to boil up meat for hours on end and then stitch together made-to-measure suits from it.

I suspect he was sectioned long ago.

This is proper out of left field…Not left midfield I must add.

Hey! Don’t write off 60+ goalkeepers just because they’re old and crap…fuckin’ ageist that is…and crapist. :lou_angry:

Come along to a kick-about, 'slowlane.

You might not even be the oldest if Sue turns up.

The RaleighBoy is 62 and has been for the last 12 years.

At least my IQ is still higher than my age - not everyone can say that.

Nor understand the concept.

What,12?

Saw a reg plate in Bham many moons ago - H11 CUE - thought it quite cool (there was also a dray wagon with A1 BRU)

To continue the digression, I once saw an otherwise nondescript car on the outskirts of Sunderland with the plate G 4 NDT, arranged as G 4ND T. Now I don’t normally like personalised plates, but this one I could live with.
