I just heard the news on the radio that he passed away a few days ago. Bloody hell, another stalwart of the music industry lost to us. I have dabbled with Folk Rock over the years but only recently bought the Fairport Convention box set and have spent many an enjoyable hour listening to him fiddling away. Sad news, as if we needed any more.

The point of the deeath thread was to keep all the croakers in one cemetry thread and not have them zombie like roaming the forum.   lou_sad

Think the problem is we have had a glut... and thus with the shear volume, its difficult to find 'em...

Blame Pap.  We need a more interactive search function to find dead folk by name, by music genre, hair length and song title .
