⚰ Death

Groundbreaking comedy

Larry Sanders was a work of genius, an astonishingly brilliant show. As Ted says above, a lot of great ccomedy shows took their inspriation from it.

I’m very sorry that I didn’t comment on the sad demise of Phife Dawg. Now I’m not a racist, but he was black - so obviously his death doesn’t really count in quite the same way. That’s not racist, it’s Just How Things Are.

Hank was always my favourite, i’m not sure the actor who played him had to retire early

Why the fuck did you watch it?

Look at his clothes does that envision a comedian that will make you laugh?

He has weasel written over his head ?

The last funny weasel was Cat Weasel and his familiar Toad.

I never worked out if Shandling played out the awkwardness, or if it real

Have the clocks gone backwards/forwards or is this the beginning of the end?

I don’t think so.

Check out “Transparent”.

Ronnie Corbett has departed this world.

Worthy of his own thread, surely.

edit: if only because of the number of times Turkish took Tim down with “language, Timothy!”.

Sorry!

KRG has started a thread. I think we just shove all the dead into one thread that we eventually bury deep on page 65 of The Sotonians.
