Damn! How can I go without taking ‘Colourblind’ with me? And what more appropriate album for this particular trip than “This Desert Life”?

Way to blue should not count as compilation- surely only original studio albums?
shit, just realised Lifey has gone songs =, not albums… sorry
What is this crock of shit? If it’s Desert Island Discs, then it’s eight tracks, not eight entire albums

You’re not supposed to notice it’s a compilation…Bastard!..Lifey hasn’t gone songs…they’re all albums…Get a grip Gay.
Gay’s mind is fucked big time now…
Well, if you’re all happy doing it wrong, far be it from me to complain. ::roll eyes::
Gay and 'slowlane, have a word with yourselves.
Two attempts at choosing the correct Nick Drake CD and neither of you chose Five Leaves Left.
This is amateur hour.
I don’t think I would take music. I don’t like music. Music is gay. It’s ok in Background i suppose, when I’m driving, or fucking, or Doing Something, but I couldn’t just sit and listen to A Whole Album Of Music. That would be v.boring. I spose the CDs would come in handy as i.e. Frisbees, or as small mirrors for shaving, but under them circumstances, I don’t spose it matters much what is actually on them. I’ll take any 8 Nick Drake CDs, as long as one of them isn’t Five Leaves Left. That’s the worst one.

Bletch dear boy, get over yourself, you are talking to a man who owns one of the original vinyl copies of Five Leaves Left …(sadly could never find originals of Bryter Layter or Pink Moon) - purchased in 1985 from a record shop in Ramsgate at a time when the was more affordable than today as he was still not known to the mainstream. Five Leaves Left is undoubtedly one of the finest Debuts ever… but Pnk moon’s desolation and melancholy are there for the darker moments on said island.
FFS Bletch I’d take them all but as I bought “Way To Blue” in the early '90s I thought I’ll take a “best of” as it leaves me another 7 choices. Amateur Shmamateur.
