Dirty Deals Done Dirt Cheap? Deadline Day

According to Ronald nothing to see here today

Maybe Sky will have to employ Harry for some quotes out of his car ?

On a related note, one of my windows at home needs replacing. Who do the FA get theirs from? At the end of every transfer period, the window always slams shut and I could do with a robust replacement.

I’m very tempted to:-

a) Make a sign which says “Hands off our players, #lfc - love #saintsfc
b) Nip up to Anfield and stand behind Sky reporter

Can’t stand it, Sky hype it up to no end.

If you’re panic buying now then you really are fucked as a club.

And hereare the BBC’s idea about the 10 men who could move today!!

Quoteth the Koeman

"Maybe one of our young players like Jack Stephens or Harrison Reed, to let them play on loan, maybe that will happen today but not other big business.

“We did our job and I think if you have to do your job, or any big business, today then in my opinion you are nervous or you do not know what you have to do, because in my opinion it is a little bit late.

“I mentioned several times, we did our job with Charlie Austin and nobody will leave the club in January.”

Echoes what I said above I think, me and RoKo on the same page, who would have thunk it?

Southampton are reportedly in for late transfer deadline day move for Arsenal’s Oxlade Chamberlain http://thesun.uk/6012BZduj (Source: SUN)

Loan move, apparently.

New reports claim Southampton have made an approach to re-sign the midfielder, who progressed through their youth academy before joining Arsenal as a teenager in 2011.

Oxlade-Chamberlain’s potential may still be vast but he is struggling to fulfill it given that he rarely manages to get into Arsenal’s team these days. He’s made 20 Premier League appearances this season, 12 of which have come as a substitute.

Ronald Koeman’s side would surely be able to offer the England international regular game time but would Wenger even consider letting Oxlade-Chamberlain leave? Or would a temporary spell on the South Coast help the 23-year-old’s development?

Hilarious. Never going to happen.

Would certainly take him, but think the chances are as good as zero.

MLG has characterised the whole thing as clickbait. Probably isn’t wrong. I’ve asked Alan Nixon if there are any truth in the rumours; he’s normally good at getting back to peeps on Twitter, but er, might be busy today.

Lotta clickbait out there.

Bollocks.

RK has been very clear, even again today. Nothing happening.

Player on the up as well.

Stoke’s previous record fee was the £12m paid to Internazionale for Xherdan Shaqiri in August of last year.

Imbula was the most expensive signing in the history of Portuguese football when he joined Porto in a €20m deal.

Now confirmed. £18.3m signing, 30 minutes to spare. Stoke. Yes, Stoke.

Ronald looks like he’s got a black eye! :lou_surprised:

Jack Stephens has joined Coventry on loan, which was one possible deal RK said might happen today.

Fair play. I imagine Cov need all the help they can get.

Yep. Sold James Maddison, one of their young stars, to Norwich for a rumoured £2.5m but he is immediately loaned back to Cov.
