It was a known fact (FACT) that if Steveweb was the fancy casino up front that we were all spending our days and nights in, there was also a small backroom that the mods could entre via the kitchen where they could have illegal arm wrestling contests and strut around in their skimpy corporate uniforms, smoking spliffs rolled out of fivers and discussing who to dish out the latest months quota of infraction points to.
Just wondering if papsweb mansions has some sort of cellar where these types of meetings go on, and if there’s one in progress right now? I remember in the old halcyon days when this place was new and questions asked in the ‘site help and FAQ’s’ section were answered in minutes.
Tonight both pap and Bletch are online but there’s nothing. I can only conclude they’re down in the cellar, quaffing red wine, eating pork pies and plotting something, watch your back Bearsy.
We were considering a Sin Bin sub-forum at one point. Haven’t needed it so far.
The closest thing we have to a secret sub forum are the drinking events. The forum comes up a lot, and we chat about things we’d like to do, and speculate on those that have failed to make an appearance
Given that transparency is a big thing around here, I think a secret sub forum would probably go against those principles. There are immediate practical concerns too. We don’t really have enough people for a subset of them to disappear into a secret bunker to chat secret shit.
If the day ever comes when we are legion, then we’'ll maybe consider it, but only after we’ve successfully annexed Eastleigh (bletch is in situ monitoring enemy troop movements). Priorities, people.
In the spirit of transparency, our lawyers Holland and Holland and Lamont Dozier have cleared me to provide the following correspondence from pap to me regarding his plans for a secret sub-forum.

Putting things into writing is how ‘they’ get you.
There is a big issue IMHO with this drinking club sub culture. If I were a Daily Mail type, I might be moved to consider this subculture to a be a real threat to the stability of this great forum, even if it only existed as a figment of my rather fertile and agenda driven imagination.
