EFL Cup - Semi Final Dates Announced

Wednesday is such a shit night for me as it’s pool league night, think I’ll have to let my team mates down…

I am up for both legs, assuming of course (big assumption) that the invite to Pap towers from last season stil holds, and even more importantly that The-best-ever-night-out-in-the-country-bar-Derby is still on offer

With a litt’lun on the way, work and many other things will try and do the Liverpool leg, will hopefully be out.

Both legs for this one I feel. Please please please Saints, win this over 2 legs!

Oh I am also hoping that 4 away games and a season ticket will be enough to get me an away ticket. Unless it goes on previous rounds of this competition.

Also can we still call it the league cup? This is what it is right? EFL cup goes not really go that well in the ‘and we’re really shake them up’ song!

Liverpool play Swansea on the Saturday before the 2nd leg. We have been moved from Monday back to Sunday against Leicester.

Extra day for Liverpool i can live with, it happens. If it’s not a televised game though, i will be very annoyed and dismiss any logical explanations put forward as blatant attempts to hide favouritism towards Liverpool.

I’m now starting to also worry about which ref we’ll get. Probably a dodgy penalty to them and a legitimate goal of ours disallowed for no apparent reason(that’s just the first leg).

All just going to make it sweeter when we progress, with Lovren or Nivea putting the decider in his own net, just to top it off perfectly.

The missus is due between these dates so I’d put the likelihood as quite low for me…

Where has she been?

Oh, i thought he had ordered a new Russian/Chinese wife and was deciding if being at the airport for her arrival was more important than the football.

Pictures and a vote could decide that tonight.

Good night out. Apparently.

Win the final and back in Europe. Win the Europa League Final and we will be in the Champions League! 3 points off an automatic place…This season is very much alive!
