Thankfully no one killed as yet and it doesnt appear to be a terrorist (as in IS) attack, but how on earth do you get on a plane in this day and age with a bomb strapped to you?

Latest news, hijacker arrested. All appear to be safe.

Heard on the radio this morning that at Sharm El Sheik $20 USD will see your luggage onto the plane without the aggro of putting it through security

And why is anyone surprised at this?

Does everyone really believe that Egyptian (and other) Airport Security Staff get paid more than the minimum wage in any country outside Europe?Minimum Wage in Egypt is probably around US4400 per month

More to the point, this “Event” is an absolute DISASTER for Egypt, coming in the wake of “Security Improvements” following the MetroJet Bombing in Sharm.

Admittedly, I have done some stupid shit that I’m not proud of when I’ve been dumped. I have never hijacked a plane over it. Is it wrong that I am almost impressed?
