England v Pakistan

Pakistan 127-3

Weird dismissal they called for a review for LBW and he was given out caught behind.

End of day 2

Pakistan 340-6 lead by 12 runs

England have the new ball but this is looking very similar to Edgbaston

Been a bit lax on here but lost the Hull Leicester stream

Pakistan 434 - 8 lead by 106 runs

getting intresting again.

Younes Khan double century

Pakistan getting a formidable lead.

PAkistan 542 all out lead by 214.

England will do well to win from this position. hopefully they can bat out all day tonight and the next two days for the draw.

England 88-4 at close of play still trailing by 126 runs

Will they be able to bat all day tomorrow to give the pakistani’s something to aim at or will they continue the collapse draw the series and not get the number 1 spot?

England 175 - 5

Moeen swinging the bat

Bairstow 58

Moeen 26

38 runs behind at the moment

England managed to get 253 before the last wicket fell.

Pakistan polished of the required 40 runs with out losing a wicket and getting a six for the final winning runs.

Level the series 2-2 and prevent England getting to the No 1 test team spot.

First ODI at the Ageas bowl today, lovely weather for a d/n game.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat, currently 25/0 off of 5 overs.

Woods steams in with the 1st ball of the 6th over and gets Khan caught behind with the slightest of nicks.

Nothing on hotspot but RTS shows a clear noise.

25-1

Azhar dropped by Hales at gully, came at him fast but he should have pouched it.

England losr their sole review after calling for a review of a not out LBW decision.

Ball was 48% hitting leg stump but as the umpire called Not Out it was Not Out!

Shouldn’t lose their review because of an Umpire’s Call decision! Plus also Umpire should be asked why he was giving it not out. I think the ump thought it hit bat before pad.

Hafeez top edges a Root ball to Hales on the rope, 52-2 of 12.2 overs.

Babar out LBW to Rashid

Looks bat on to pad or maybe simultaneous but Pakistan stupidly used their one review earlier, and lost!!

113-3

Azhar Ali c Ali b Rashid 82 (110)

178-4

Well yesterday’s game was a bit of a turnaround from where the 50 over side were a year ago!!

Record 50 over score, record score for an England player (beating Robin Smith’s score from 1993!!). Yes Pakistan’s bowling was woeful and the pitch was a batting track but still well done.

I didnt even realise it was on until it was nearly over got the last Pakistani wicket on commentary.

Caught a bit of it Hales breaking the record. Saw Buttler coming in as I walked into pub, drank my pint, sang a karaoke tune (well murdered it) went to the bathroom & Buttler was on about 60.

Insane even allowing that Pakistan are weak.

The records kept falling
