this has been inspired by Dubai_Phil, but who on here will be travelling to the qualifiers for Saints to get into the Europa League?
I missed out last time, so I am determined to get to see Saints in Europe. The problem I have is that the 1st leg needs to be away and the 2nd leg I am in Morocco.
If we progress, I need the 2nd leg to be away, as we are moving the day before the 1st leg!
Not even thought about the group stages!
would be good if a few of us, went to an away game!

- Only going to home games
- Just want to see Saints in Europe, even if once

- Will take the risk and wait for the league to start
- Going to get BT Sport and watch at home
Just to put it in context, it isn’t me! We now have a Dubai Massive - averaging around 15 for a meh game and our record is 35 for Citeh at home last year.
We’ve photos with Trevor Stephen & Paul Collingwood and we also welcomed Rory’s Caddy JP at one game.
Anyway we have made the decision that for anything in the East or South of Europe (eg Cyprus Turkey etc) then we have some low cost airlines and we have about a dozen who have said “let’s do it”
I’ve been in touch with the #GlobalSFC guru down under and my pals back in the UK and we have a lot of issues to address, not least tickets and Visas and short notice. We’re working on something to talk to the club about but it will not help us this year (ie the issue is we use a UAE credit card to book a ticket for a game in Cyprus, but the UAE has no postal system per se, and we can get to Cyprus for 100 quid but to get to SMS to collect the tickets is like 1000 quid. Lot’s of fixes being looked at of course, do we get Memberships or ST holders to help out yadda yadda yadda)
Anyway we HOPE to get a crew to the first match.

Depends on the EL draw, but Emirates fly from Newcastle so could extend the tour (depending on who we get in t he EL & when the away leg is)
I’ve been wondering about how the Europa logistics will pan out and nearly started a similar thread the other day.
I was only 16 in 2003 and as I didn’t know anybody else going to Bucharest for the Steaua match, was that smidge too young to do it on my own. So I’ll be damned if I’m missing out again.
With the number of our fans claiming they’re going to go to European aways, it’s either going to be a scrabble for tickets or many are merely talking a good game. Head says it’s the latter.

Missed the Steau away game, but looking to rectify that this time around. Hopefully we will put in a good show and get the opportunity to go to a few places.
