Do we have a comedy gig thread? I cannot find one. We have comedy genius but not much else.Any how saw Dave Gorman last night and he was his usual funny self. His support was Nicky Doody who I saw one time at Glastonbury when I needed some time out rom music and a sit down.

BBC 6 music weekend in Bristol in 3 weeks, Primal Scream, Underworld, Roisin Murphy, Tricky, This is The Kit <3 And others

You can all stay at my place.

I’m joking of course …

Just in case any of you scrubs turn up at my place

Where is it by the way? Number and postcode will do…leave the door on the latch if you’re out, you can trust us. :lou_lol:

Green Man tickets bought.

That line up…woof already.

I love that album (formative years etc.) but fuck me if ever a band dined out on one release…all down to Andy Weatherall anyway.

Arrgh

Just wrote a stunning review of last night’s gig and went to insert an emoticon and the page kicked me out. FFS Pap.

Off for a bacon sarnie to calm down

Going to see Scritti Politti at The Roundhouse next Friday, now that Green has got over his stagefright.

He is also promising a new album later in the year.

I am also going to see “An Evening with Ian McCulloch” in Skatesville next month.

Seen Green several times with the BeF gigs, should be good.

Sat in a queue for 15 minutes to get tickets for Iggy & Josh Homme at the Royal Albert Hall this morning.

Sold out just as I got through. Cunts.

Ah live music is great. At the Libertines tonight. But already encountered some tossers in the crowd. So many idiots in this world.

Thanks. Once I posted that I realised there is a link. Particularly when they got 4 scantily clad women to come on stage and “dance sexy”. Low point. Thought I’d gone back to the 70s and benny hill.

I’d love to see Pete mumble his way through “Ernie”.

This is true, Andy Weatherall made that album. Still one of my favourites

So I probably won’t be going to see the Libertines again unless there isn’t much else on another stage at a festival. I was exhausted and not in the best mood so that may have clouded my enjoyment of a night out.

The “fans” were on the whole beery lads who didn’t give a fuck about anyone else. It’s quite amazing how self absorbed people are. Other half said a guy was pissing in the sink when there were plenty of urinals. Nice. Still didn’t quite beat the Kasabian (I think) crowd at the Guildhall who just pissed in corridors and by the cloakroom (where i was working at the time).

Next up Massive Attack so hopefully a little more chilled.
