"Give kids a chance" - Ronald Koeman

I know we’re all still smarting from a complete tonking by Arsenal last night, but I wonder how many of you might have seen this article on Keoman?

Considering one of the supposed reasons we let him go (perhaps not strictly true that we just let him go) was that he didn’t bother to play or encourage any of our younger home grown talent.

Is he saying then that ours just weren’t any good and Everton’s are better?

Thoughts…?

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has urged his Premier League counterparts to give English youngsters a chance in the top flight.

I think he’s urging the other managers to play the kids so he can beat them.

You’re right, though, according to some sources he famously didn’t think our youth were ready.

Koeman is an idiot. Puel proved yesterday that our youth are ready and up to it.

Whatever next…he’ll be telling the media there is more to being a player or manager than just money. A contract is not just a bargaining tool but a committment for both club, manager and player. He’s obviously a man of integrity.
