Another one to add to 2016s greats who have passed away.

I saw him a few years ago in Poole in a tiny venue. Very weird audience.

But best memory is seeing him read kids books to children at Camp Bestival and judging a dancing comp at Bestival.

Gruff Rhys of Super Furries was a good mate and wrote a song about him. He led a colourful life but was a great bloke.

Had a few beers with him in town one evening. He sparked up a big one and got thrown out.

Keep meaning to read his book. Still only April and so many big names gone :slight_frown:
