I am very surprised at the lack of coverage of this on this forum, especially as I consider the vast majority of posters on here as avid royalists.

Does anyone here remember what it was like not having Liz as our reigning monarch?
In 63 years she has done just two things for me.
Deprived me of the smug satisfaction at the death of a monarch
Saved me from the horror of another coronation.

Not me…and I claim elder statesman status here. I remember my brother going to the Coronation street party but I wasn’t allowed to go…too young. Bit pissed I didn’t get a Coronation Mug.

She’s a record breaker every time she goes for her morning “bombing run” now, isn’t she? Public holidays forever!
