:metoo: Harvey Weinstein

Clinton is a natural born liar. We’ll probably have to wait till he drops dead before we know the ins and outs of that cunts ins and outs.

How far back will it go? Kennedy was a famous womaniser and is quoted as saying that he got a headache if he didn’t “have a strange piece of ass everyday.”

That’s the least of JFK’s worries.

So accurate

Apology Generator

While I do not recall the events at the 2009 Golden Globes Party transpiring the same way, I am deeply ashamed (but not “sorry” because that means I’m guilty of something). I was intoxicated at the time, and of course now I realize my behavior was wrong. In conclusion, I will delete my Twitter account because I hate to see people who are mad at me.

“I imagined that any woman would have been thrilled to see a tiny penis peeking out from below my pasty, middle-aged paunch like the head of a geriatric albino turtle moments from death, and of course now I realize my behavior was wrong.”

:lou_lol: That is genius

Uma Thurman latest to say “me too”

She’s worked with Weinstein, along with Tarantino for most of her career. Her anger is pretty obvious.

No idea where else to put this but looks like more problems up at Crewe

And this one

We seem to have our own Weinstein.

He’s always come across as such a nice guy too.

I’m not sure I’m comfortable with people (mis)using parliamentary privilege to get around a court injunction.

That doesn’t mean I condone etc etc etc

I’m not entirely comfortable with privileged people using court injunctions to block bad news about them. Especially as those same people will use the press to better their own agendas.

Live by the sword die by the sword etc etc

True, but you should stick to due process. If the law is an ass then change it surely? Using Parliamentary privilege means that MPs can effectively run roughshod over legally binding decisions by judges and signed agreements with impunity (whether you think they are valid or not).

Anyone else would have been sued.

Regardless of whether Green is guilty or not that dickhead Hain has effectively made it unlikely Green would get a fair trial. It’ll now be trial by media and mob rule online.

Edit : “you” is not aimed at you Bob

I’ve not really been following the story, would it have got to trial or is it just gossip?

Was just my supposition really.

I think it is just accusations at this point - there are allegations of NDAs

There are reports that the court, which granted the injunction, gave the media details of the NDAs (without the names) and stated that at least two individuals were very happy with their NDAs and do not want their identities revealed.

Whether these NDAs cover what is being suggested and whether they involve Green personally, who knows at this stage.

He used the NDA’s to get an injunction against the story being printed. The NDA’s, by their very nature, are generally an admission of guilt. Clearly, he’s more concerned about his image than his actions and has probably carried on making peoples lives difficult / miserable in the process. If he’s named, then so be it.

Slimy little prick.
