It says 48% want taxes to stay the same to go down

do you want to try again?

48% say they want higher taxes to pay for more spending on health, education and social benefits; 44% say they want it to stay the same and 4% would like to see taxes cut

Edit: Misread your point. Apologies.

tbf fair, I can’t type - “to” should read “or”

Do the other 4% just refuse to pay tax so don’t give a fuck?

These are the high net worths

I am not a high net worth I just don’t pay taxes

The majority of people voted for continued austerity and had faith in Theresa May a matter of weeks ago.

If those figures are correct have some already changed their minds and embraced a different approach?

U-turn.

Hang on wasn’t it you banging on about being shortlisted for a £175k a year job in Dubai (tax free presumably)?

I think people are happy to cough up a few more quid in tax *if* they’re convinced it’ll go to worthwhile causes - like the tailfin of a cruise missile or a new aircraft carrier
