costs to run it?

Its bollocks and I am tired of people saying its the best in the World, its not, not by a long way, try Australia, France, Spain and many many others for a far better system.

Higher contributions (tax) is the right way to go about it, I include roads, education, military and transport on this, we have to fund and pay for it properly.

I think the French system is the way to go for sure.

Defo 30 to 41% basic tax is far fairer than we have now and we would get the services we deserve, we have stealth 25% odd tax now and our utilities and infrastucture are shit.

Wow! Just wow!

How about istead of just chucking money at the problem we first get it running properly and correctly and using the money it does get to itā€™s best adavntage.

Then, when that is done, we can start thinking about putting more money in to improve it.

How can it run properly when its failing through a lack of money and real investment, the ridiculous amount of suits in high pay is the tip of the iceberg, billions are needed and where are we going to get that?

Yes all problems can be solved by much more money, raised by a huge increase in taxation. Brilliant.

You dont think the issue could be helped by proper investment?

I am agreeing with you. All problems can be solved by much more money, raised through higher taxation. Genius. Economics is really your thing.

I havenā€™t said that have I? I said it could help, reading is not your thing (and being prepared to pay a higher tax for a better service). Fairer Nations seem to pay a higher tax.

I wouldnā€™t say France is a fairer nation?

Thatā€™s fine and dandy as long as ā€˜running properly and correctlyā€™ and ā€˜best advantageā€™ are defined accurately and not changed every time a new health secretary gets a bee in itā€™s bonnet.

Cocerning tax I would, and thats to what I refer. Their NHS, rail infrastruture and roads are better I know that much.

Whatā€™s fairer about this? We have lower taxes for the low paid, and we start paying 40% tax earlier??

Ave an up vote.

German system of healthcare is very good.

Costs tho.

Er, yes you did. ā€œdefo 30% to 41% basic taxā€¦is fairerā€¦and we would get the services we deserveā€.

Baz I have already said its a genius idea, twice. No other solution is needed apart from more money and a grateful nation will happily pay more tax (and more than many other nations do) to ensure that this happens.

Excellent news well done Bucks.

Itā€™s called ā€˜John McDonnellā€™ economics.
