It's fucking cold!

Currently -6 here. Freezing my balls off.

I’ve travelled over 200 miles in it so far, fortunately on the West side of the country.

Unfortunately, it’s still well below zero, and the combination of snow, windchill and a frozen reservoir of windscreen wiper fluid meant that my windscreen has been covered in shite the last two nights on the way back. I’ve been stressed to bits.

I’m worried for you and your balls :slight_frown: Have you contacted Shelter, they might give you some hot food and a place to stay tonight. God bless you

At what point does Tesco admit it’s premixed antifreeze 5l bottles. Situated next to the checkout is actually just blue coloured water that freezes?

It’s not so much the temperature, more the wind. It’s an absolute bastard.

Am sitting at home in my shorts and t-shirt with the windows wide open as Mrs C_S has the thermostat turned up to the max. What I wouldn’t give for aircon unit right now…ok I exaggerate about the windows but I dread to think how many trees I’ll have to plant to offset Mrs C_S’s heating related carbon footprint

It was pretty cold Monday. I did 5 visits by 2pm walking around the south of the borough. Yesterday woke up to see no promised snow. Walked to work as the buses were rammed that was also pretty cold. Had several meetings and visits and got snowed on a bit.

Woke up to a lovely site of snow in the carpark. Managed to get into work early on the bus. But walked though a strong flurry of snow and looked like a snow woman by time I got to the venue. Walked down the high st trying not to slip up and another walk though a large flurry of snow on the way home and wondered if tomorrow I can just work from home with the underfloor heating. I’ve had enough of it now.

Don’t I know it. I find not eating onions helps. They give me wind something rotten…

Travelled just over 200 miles since last night heading for Grand Turk in the Turks & Cacos Islands…all seems to be reasonably warm here at the moment.

Checked the forcast for tomorrow…no snow just yet but sunscreen at the ready if things turn ugly.

I’m sure he’d swap it for 24 hours in a freezing Bristol

It’s a tough life…been fighting pensioners all day for squatter’s rights over sunloungers with towells on. My comment of, “I didn’t know there were so many Germans onboard” didn’t go down too well.

I’m quite proud of the dog. She disappeared into the sub zero snowy climes of the garden to have a shit.

The only problem was I couldn’t see her. Shih Tzu camouflage.

*Sigh, it’s a tough life fighting over those sunloungers

Similarly my two cats.

They’ve never experienced snow. Watchin g them try to figure out how to have a dump in snow higher than their arses is one of lifes joys.

Fuck off the lot of you.

Unless you’re bald you don’t know what cold is.

I had to buy a hat on the way home from work.

If it continues for much longer I might have to buy a syrup.

I felt sorry for all the homeless stuck at Wembley last night outdoors in that cold watching a white screen in a snow storm.

No work for me today. Fuck driving in that. Stay safe boys and girls.

24C sandstorm and probably more showers today. You have weird airstream bringing this crap to you, much in the way we do. We’ve caught the outer edges of the Indian Monsoon, anyone who has been in the US after a former Hurricane / Tropical Storm passes over knows that feeling of heavy humid air that we have now.

The weather is getting weird.
