ITV commentary.... new depths

Is it too much to ask that commentators actually take time and research the opposition so that they can name players etc… not just go ‘’ the Lithuanian number 11…’’ etc… apart from their inane bollocks spouted, the bias and lack of self awareness, it makes watching any game on ITV like having a fish hook roughly inserted into the Japs eye then yanked continously for 90- minutes (Plus extra time and penalties)

PS. If ITV being shite threads have been done before, tough, it cannot be said enough

Ian Wright looking like a the Voodoo guy in ‘Live an Let Die’ - which is entertaining

No this is a first for ITV…it’s usually a thread about shite BT Sport coverage and the erudition of Michael Owen.

Good, am glad I am broadening the scope of broadcast derision.

ITV is shite for football, but our game last week on sky had Niall Quinn co-“commentating” and he was terrible. Spoke so much shite. Then on the Sunday it was Alan Smith, who also talks utter crap!

I thought when Andy Townsend left ITV it would improve, but no. I find all commentators are shocking!

Pleased to see plus p.s is catching on. Every time this is posted Pap send me another nude. It’s in the contract.

Is it BT that are now using 3 commentators? I quite like this. The worst is streaming. Nowadays the quality of the streams is pretty good and it’s easy to forget you are not just watching TV. That is until some B lister from talk sport like Ray Houghton pipes up. You always know you are on a stream when Ray starts to go on about our pressing style or lack of it or how our number whatever should move to a bigger club like I.e. Liverpool.

Might be a bit precious to point out, but it seemed a little unprofessional that Hoddle was referring to ‘us’ when talking about England.

Still, I expect he refers to disabled people as ‘them’.
