Tactically Im looking forward to a solid defensive display that doesn't invlove the whole team. With a bit of luck we will see some attacking. Maybe if we play a CB with Champtions league and world cup experience it will help free up our forwards. Just an idea I know it sounds crazy in this climate

your obsession with MC is bordering the ridiculous (that's if you're not just trolling, which I haven't ruled out). Yoshida and Stephens have been excellent. They're not the problem and replacing one of them won't suddenly turn us into an attacking force.

I dont think Stephens and Yosh is a good enough CB partnership. It is failing us in terms that it needs the whole of our midfield to help it out for the whole ninety. Meaning we struggle to score

I'm going to have to disagree. We haven't been free flowing and free scoring all season. Our goal tally is very low, has been all season even before the Stephens and Yoshida partnership.

Im going to agree with you. We havent been free flowing and free scoring all season. Our goal tally is very low and has got worse as the season progressed and we lost our 1st and 2nd choice CBs

22 goals in 22 PL games before VVD injured.  17 goals in 12 PL games since we lost VVD.  Goals to games ratio has actually improved since Maya and Stephens at CB.  Our goal tally is still shit though.

Interesting. i think the Gabba spree must have helped the stats as watching every game it does seem that way

Bert rand made Garth Crook's team of the week

 He did indeed.

He promptly went on to say that Liverpool should break the bank to buy him.
