If they play like they did against Liverpool then I reckon we could beat them. I wouldn’t want to see Claise go up against Feilani though.

In that first clip, the pre match conference, he says on 2.42 about getting Austin in “and we are prepared for what will happen in the summer”. Is this just his English (sometimes his communication skills aren’t great) or is he saying that someone is leaving and Austin is the replacement?

I thought the same, but the ever diligent journos missed it. Perhaps he just mean the inevitable interest in our players, as per the last two summers, as opposed to any concrete plans.

I’m beginning to suspect that Pelle is on his way out. I might even (I have previously) suggest that he isn’t injured and that initially he was dropped for being shit and allowed to save face by Koeman saying it was an injury. And now I wouldn’t be surprised if the contract rumours are true and that he moves to Italy in the summer. I wouldn’t expect more than €10m for him though. Or maybe he is referring to Mane leaving, which will undoubtedly happen, but then Austin isn’t a replacement for Mane. Who knows. Let’s just forget the whole thing.

Think Summer will see Mane, Vic and Pelle move on… for around 40mil max… some say selling is not a problem if you replace like for like or better… but to me its the constant annual change when these players are part of the spine, or the ‘special’ ones that can change a game… Having to rebuild year on year is never going to see us progress… merely stagnate or flirt with relegation.

I think we’ll get a result here, and I am rarely wrong about These Kind Of Things. If I was you bros, I would get down ur local bookies + lump on. You can thank me later.

Thanks bearsy, just lumped on - all savings for the summer holiday, getting the Kitchen sorted and daughter’s college, Also got paid today so will lump on the whole monthly salary as a well before the direct debits go out on the 1st. How Mrs C will be pleased when I come back with a winning haul. I owe you one my fine ursine tipster

No probs. I would also take out a second mortgage, and cash in my pension, if I was you. There are also some crazy deals available on Pay Day Loans, which might be worth looking at.

Finding it difficult to remember a recent manager with the quiet clout and authority of RK. I’ve just watched that press conference and he’s just the same measured fella on every response. No players are leaving this window (except maybe Gaston, who we don’t want) and he’ll repeat that for the 81st time if you want him to

His assessment is not far off. We’ve not always given a superb account of ourselves against United in recent times, but it has largely been stupid stuff that has cost us. Cut that out, and we have a good chance.

Good idea, pension was a bad growth year so this will grow the pot - already maxed out 6 credit cards for cash withdrawals, but had forgotten about Wonga bros and their competitive rates of interest - Took out the max again online and told them they could have have it back Monday Plus the 1795% interest… which reminds me to go seek out Vladimir, not sure of his surname but must be doing well for himself as he has one of those lovely smart Bentley Continentals … not met him before, but heard he sorts folk out for bigger sums of cash and something about hospital bulls so I should be able to get a good haul there as well.

Fuck Yeah this time next week we will be Millionnaires!

It’s all good anyway, cos I’ve had a word with pap, and he has got such great faith in my tipsting that he has agreed to underwrite all stakes upto a maximum of £500k per poster.

Yeah he’s good in those press conferences; he’s a bit arsey, and he talks down to the dumb journos like School Children, but not so much that it makes him look like a Cunt.

Need to keep just in case we win 3-1 or something or Forster scores first… as Vlad suggested they would ‘cut out your (My) keednies whilst you watching’’ if I do not get their £75K + £50K interest on Monday

Fool … should have taken the 1,000,000 to 1 odds of JWP scoring at anytime from open play, no matter what the score, Fraser is only 250,000 to 1 FFS. :astonished:
