Manchester United V Saints Match Thread

I like Mane, I like that he’s sometimes just an incredibly skillful, free scoring genius. And yet, can’t control a ball :frowning:

I also need to know how to put that accent on the e in Mane

CTRL + ALT +E on Windows. Or hold down on the ‘E’ on your Android keyboard for further options. Or stop being a Mac wanker.

Barley a word, never mind credit, given to RK and the team on MOTD. Some things dont change.

I watched it this morning, but it’s to be expected, unfortunately. We’re a top half team with a limited following playing nice football. They’re a behemoth in serious trouble. The highlights made us look pretty good though. With one shot on target for United, that was something they couldn’t skew too much.

Re-watched some of the game and I just don’t get United’s tactics this season. Were Louis Van Gaal’s parents killed before his eyes by the wayward forward pass of a football?

Thats no way to talk about Papsweb Fat Club. Disciplinary procedings may need to be taken. Splendid result by the lads is no excuse for such language. Fucking sort it out Goatgirl

Sorry GA. I’m on the Hobgoblin :lou_sad:

Had I not been working a night shift later, that’s what I would have been drinking in our bar in Dubai with @dubaisaints

My 2nd loudest cheer of the night was when late into the game, Fraser leapt like Superman into the murky Manchester sky to collect the ball like a complete boss. Exactly what the defence wanted to see from their keeper.

I went to the game.

It was Ok. I suppose.

Yeah…I think you’re right. I had the advantage of listening to it on the radio muching my Prawn sandwiches. Great atmosphere here.

I’m trying to keep things in perspective.

I missed last years and 1988, so hadn’t seen a win there since Ron got all 4 in 1969.

May have gone a little bit mental yesterday.

LOL … Master of understatement!!

Van Gaal offered to resign after this game. Was talked out of it.

To my amazement it seems that “OTHER PEOPLE” watched the game on Saturday down here.

As I know that none of our crew ever go onto this link.

The “Independent” locals voted VVD as MotM, in fact gave him the 3rd highest rating of any player this weekend.

Sport 360 Player Ratings

Think the locals should get out more as both Clasie & Long were immense on Saturday IMHO of course

Van Gaal did not offer to resign at the weekend, despite reports to the contrary http://bbc.in/1WMDir9 # MUFC

Connor Wickham just banned for 3 games for elbowing Vertonghen in the head, based on video evidence as the Ref missed it.

Meanwhile, serial dirty fucker Fellani elbows Vic in the head and so…nothing.

One plays for Palace, one for Utd. :lou_facepalm_2:

Fellani is a dirty fucker but I think Wickham’s elbow was way more obviously intentional. Maybe this just means that Fellani is more experienced at it the sneaky shit.

I suspect Wickham will feel hard done by as you see players get away with that type of thing and worse, on a very regular basis.

It was quite a bit different, as it wasn’t an aerial challenge. He was going near post for a corner and was being held. Just gave it the old " fuck off" and put Vertonghen out for a few weeks.

Shame!
