I have just watched a Comic Strip production called Redtop which is all about Rebekah Brooks stint at The Sun. In it Tony Blair is seen with Murdoch’s previous wife Wendi Deng…just found out that he apparently allegedly had an affair with her in 2013! How on earth did I miss that? Did anyone else know about that?

Not sure about an affair, but Deng seemed to fancy a bit of Prime Ministerial action …

Miss Deng is said to have become infatuated with the former Prime Minister while she was still married to the media mogul.

In the note, Chinese-born Miss Deng wrote in broken English: “Oh, s***, oh, s***. Whatever why I’m so so missing Tony. Because he is so so charming and his clothes are so good.

Although Blair denied the affair ( well he would, wouldnt he?) he apparently used to visit the Murdoch ranch when Rupert wasnt there and was seen by staff disappearing into Wendi’s bedroom. They were also seen by staff feeding each other. Murdoch eventually heard about the visits and questioned the staff at the ranch after which he contacted his lawyers and started divorce proceedings. She is also supposed to have had affairs with others, including a senior exec from Google.

It’s lovely to see a couple so suited to each other starting off on their romantic journey.

But I fear it won’t be a lengthy trip.
