To continue my efforts of Quantity over Quality
So, a short snippet about Premier League rule changes in this BBC article has stated that :-
No pitch designs
Pitch patterns and designs will no longer be allowed at stadiums in the Premier League.
Rules state that the playing surfaces must contain no markings other than the traditional horizontal and white lines.
So there we have it, no fancy patterns on the pitch in the EPL (sic.) this season. Guess it makes sense as it makes it easier for the linesman to judge when a player is offside or not but I still think it’s a bit of a shame.
