20 years ago today the father of the “Greatest ever half-time announcer” (and I will stick the nut on anyone who says otherwise) scored his only 1st team goal in a 2-1 win over, coincidentally, tonights opponents.

It was a cracker, I was sat with my Dad in the Archers Rd end, I nudged him and said something like ‘look at the space Benali has’ and lo’ and behold Le Tiss dinked the ball right on his bonce and the rest is legendary. Good times
