No idea if there is one (cant find it on here) but I like knowing what the other teams are doing. Good way to keep track on the others.
I’ve generally been putting stuff in the transfer thread. But not a bad idea to have a separate one for stuff.
Been impressed with Swansea’s dealings so far.
I made a list/thread with all the transfers so far but can’t find it.
They’ve signed Tabanou today as well. Building a nifty team there. Although not seen much of the players theyve signed, on paper they’re looking stronger.

In realtion to this, Spurs have announced the signing on Trippier.
£3.5m seems surprisingly non-extortionate for an English bro
I’m a big fan of Lebanese food.
It looks like Brendan and co are about to spend big on Benteke. They’ve finally stopped piss-arsing about with the foreplay and are set to whack the minimum release money on the table. 32.5M. I have to say, I half think Fenway Sports are insane for letting Rodgers spend this much dough, again. I was speaking to my Liverpool supporting mate this evening, who is sick of Rodgers himself. He was keen to point out that Rodgers hasn’t won anything. That really is their problem. They shouldn’t be plucking their managers from Swansea and no disrespect to us, they shouldn’t be poaching quite as many of our first team. They’re not all Gareth Bale, FFS.
Personally, I think Rodgers likes players that are grateful to come to Liverpool because they are more likely to buy his shit. If Nathaniel Clyne suddenly becomes a bad player in a poor defence, the knives are going to be out.

Tyrone Mings move to Bournemouth was reported to be 8m, the same as we paid for Clasie…
Yeah, but he might turn out alright, whereas we’ve already got one humungous flop on our hands in Osvaldo, and another that has yet failed to reach his potential, Gaston. Teams need to buy to have a chance of staying in the top flight, the selling club knows this, often putting them in the driving seat in terms of the player’s cost. We ourselves have exploited a similar need time and time again, although usually with clubs above us instead of those that have just arrived.
Even so, in footballing terms, 8m is not a lot of money.
Updated!
Sunderland are going to struggle this year. I tip them, Watford and Leicester to go down.
Villa really don’t know how to price their players. Fair play, it looks like Liverpool are mental enough to pay 32.5M for Benteke, but 8m for Delph? Where’s the English premium? City are laughing all the way to their European registration list.
Interesting to see what other teams do in the transfer market
but I believe The mighty Saints have done a proper job so far…
Cedric Soares
Jaunmi
Jordy Clasie
All looking top class signings .
Not seen enough of Cuco Martina yet…but you never know…might well prove the many so called football experts wrong.
Not forgetting the loan GK…Stekelenburg…who looks sound as a pound.
COYS
I’ve seen reports saying he had a clause that allowed him to go for 8m. Definitely confirms that they don’t know how to price their players and/or are shit at contracts!
Think it was more desperation. His old contract expried this summer, so they risked losing him for nothing. Think the only way they could get him to sign was to give him a release clause for next to nothing. £8m is better than £0.
Well, you have to hand it to Man United. Who knew it would be as easy as just forgetting to do the paperwork on time, before signing your wantaway star player on a four year contract.
200K a week, but on the basis of his performances in the last couple of seasons, a no-brainer for a club with the resources of United.
