PL Opening Weekend

Well, it’s here.

Spurs currently trailing, having probably started better. Shame.

It’s really not right seeing Morgan in a United shirt :frowning:

Didn’t really notice Morgan much TBF, rather turgid game that one, not the usual Man Utd v Tottenham that we’ve been used to.

Thought he was pretty solid, if unspectacular. But yeah, was a pretty dull.

See Sunderland are getting tonked, really bored of them being rubbish every year. Watford doing well too, g’warn boys!

that really was a tedious game. Spurs looked good for 20 mins and then went to shit.

Oh dear, Nigel Adkins.

Saints in 12th place at the moment. Not the worst start for us!

A shame for the Cherries. I wouldn’t call it unlucky, more a case of how it always is for any team facing a new challenge. I hope they will learn from their mistakes and make more of their chances in future. They could have edged that game.

Well, it’s lovely to see MOTD back on the telly, if only to get a peek at some of the other teams.

Lineker is happy because Leicester have burst out of the blocks.

Nice to see Jose steaming over Swansea’s draw. It’s like he never went away.

So far, a lot of accidental goals!

Saturday night’s MOTD isn’t the same without Saints, though.

Have to get used to it this season, I suppose.

Shocking decision to rule out that Norwich goal for a head high kick, imo

Be interesting to see what the pundits make of it

Long may this continue!

Watching Spurs players physically run out of puff, and no plan B made me feel nostalgia for Pottechino

We’ll miss Morgan this season though, he controlled the midfield and aside from one or two lapses sprayed a few passes to the wings. Worst thing is BT Sport pundits … Hello, Michael Owen! Getting all excited with Bastian Schweienstiger, running around, missing tackles and yet pointing at his teamates in a “i’m experienced do what I say” thing. Midfield General  Trouble is I don’t think Utd fans realise what a great player they have.

Sunderland are pants again, Norwich and Bouremouth will also struggle.

Right that is the bottom 3 sorted and the champions are playing tomorrow.

Presently watching Wes Bromwich Albion vs Man City. Great to see Rickie getting a start.

I don’t think he’s going to get a sniff tonight…West Brom are getting the runaround already.
