Play off games

I love watching these. Stems from 2012 when I promised myself that if we were already up I’d gloat over West Ham in the playoffs. Always over the Bank Holiday weekend, usually a great atmosphere and I don’t care who wins!

This year I’d prefer Hull - as the boy is at Uni up there so I could combine a trip to see him with the away game. On the other hand a good mate at work is a Wednesday fan.

Also - the standard is usually shite - so we can look forward to six points for Saints and one of the relegation places taken!

I went to Uni with a Wednesday fan. They can fuck off until he hands his share of the group project in. Hull for me.

Hull it is. Fair play to Steve Bruce. An honest manager that I look forward to seeing back in the Prem.

Yup - not a bad game. Wednesday’s support was unbelievable.

Barnsley/Millwall tomorrow. Got to want Barnsley for Lloyd Isgrove. Interestingly two Millwall season ticket holders at work aren’t going due to the knobs that Millwall attract when they get to Wembley.

I’ve got a good mate at work who is “nice Millwall”, so feelings are a bit mixed on this one. My Millwall mate took their recent relegation in good humour, is the thing. Endears you to 'em.

Martyn Ware from Heaven 17 watched his beloved Wednesday lose then went straight to play a festival in Surrey where drunk people stood about chatting.

He was one of very few Wednesday fans to return home in profit.

I know a Millwall fan who I met when we played and beat Millwall on our 2003 cup run, when KD popped up with a late leveller in the home game.

So for her, still a friend to this day, Millwall for me today.

If I go to Swansea and Hull City away next season, that is the premier league grounds ticked off!

You’ve managed to piss the rest off already?

Good work.

That is if he stays on. I think he may want another job as things (until the playoffs) had not been to great since the turn of 2016.

Barnsley stormed into a 2 goal lead but Millwall are fighting back.

2-1 40 mins gone.

Barnsley 3-1 Millwall - 77 minutes! (Isgrove header)

Adam Hammill got the 2nd as well.

Not a bad goal either!

Naaa…modern footballs bend like bananas. Nothing like a sweetly struck rising shot into the top corner…you never see them today. If someone strikes a ball perfectly like that they sail way over the bar…what do the fill them with…helium?

Now I watched this and then went on You Tube. It seems they still kick off at most games, but as this was Wembley it got media coverage. I am still unsure if (local) society jump on the Millwall history and go along to games just so they can cause trouble. As I know you that Millwall as a club do lots of work to rid of this behaviour.

Looking forward to my trip to Wembley today and hoping that the real Don’s progress with promotion. Hope there are seats in my section still.

Well 0-0 here at half time.

Plymouth have pretty much filled their end, great turnout. Plymouth playing the better football.

Wimbledon look like the same team from the 80’s… Hoooooooffffffff!

Poor half, can only get better!
