One of the key aims of this site is to have an honest number of contributing posters. This doesn’t happen automatically. Numerous checks need to be made to keep those opportunities of earning $3000 a day from home at bay.
In the style of a James Bond supervillain explaining my master plan to my fiercest foe, here’s what happens.
First, I check the username. Cultural ties can be key here, either to usernames I have known previously, or stuff that at least sounds authentically British, like our recent signup Burp.
Then, I check the email. We run all email addresses against a list of known spammers. Those that sign up from Russia or China are nearly always on the blacklist. Anyone on the blacklist is automatically rejected.
If I’m not sure, I email the person to determine whether their email address is reachable (instant rejection if not), plausible (e.g. male username with female first name in email signup) and send an email using colloquial English to determine if everything is legit, guv’nor, ol’ fella me lad, etc.
About half of our signups survive, and as I draw a conclusion on one of our more recent signups, it dawns on me that these are the forgotten people of Sotonians, never given a voice by fascist bastard me to offer you all very interesting opportunities to earn $3000 a day.
They need something, surely. Some recognition. Some proof that they tried to offer us these opportunities. I have not provided it.
It therefore pleases me to announce the rejection of BradyNog. I’d initially had high hopes, even though a hotmail email address was in use.
I sent this:-
Hey BradyNog,
Noticed this signup on Sotonians. Email looks a bit dodge. Can you just confirm that the signup is legit?
Thanks,
And have received no reply.
