He is certainly not your average footballer, in general life as he is on the field. Just think he’s the bloke for the job. Have often been put right for suggesting anyone further forward than the back four should be Capt. What do you think?

He certainly seems to fit the mould being the lynchpin of our midfield and giving 100% every game. Not totally sure about how much he puts his mouth about though.

He’s a proper lead by example player. I’d have him as capitan no problem. He seems to have (to a large extent) cut out the silly yellows too.

Exactly, we need him on the pitch not getting banned for too many yellows. Mind you we need a bit more physicality I reckon, so get another 5 or 6 of him to see us through the season?
