🧍‍♂️🧘🧍‍♀️ Safe standing coming back?

Oh I hope so, this has to happen for the sake of the game, atmospheres have never recovered once the Taylor report was fully implemented.

Is it?

If you read the BBC Sport Article :-

The Premier League will discuss the issue of safe-standing areas at a routine meeting between the 20 top-flight clubs next week.

There is no suggestion a decision will be taken but it is understood a few clubs are keen to discuss the matter.

Many, however, are not yet sure of their opinion and the Premier League is conscious that it is a sensitive topic.

and

Any changes to the existing legislation would require government approval.

Given the recent Hillsborough ruling do you really think the government will have the appetite to sanction this?

Link? Or is it your usual post-Horlicks and mushroom party hallucination?

Bazza doesn’t do links, he relies on his minions to mop up behind him (when they know what he’s talking about themselves)

According to Talksport they’re talking right now and it could happen for the 2018/19 season, the vast majority of Premier League clubs have voted in favour for it, Spurs new ground has even provision for design adjustment before it opened.

Wow, that is in direct contrast to the BBC article.

But its Talksport, so it must be right

Why not Celtic have it and its worked wonders up there?

I didn’t say that, I said it could be coming back as there is a huge appetite for it, they have conceded people stand and its more dangerous than having specialised standing facilities.
95% of fans approx. want it.

And we are legion.

Well link away flunkie, safe standing is coming back baby.

What’s the point? I used to like terrace cos it was cheaper, you could mill around with ur bros, and when a goal was scored you would all surge forward and bundle up and cop a sneaky feel on someone elses junk.

If they do it now, it won’t be cheaper, you’ll have to stand where ur told, and there will be barriers seperating you from other bros and their delicious cocks. Waste of Time.

Atmosphere young Bearsy, Celtic fans are loving it.

Guaranteed standing. No one behind you moaning because they want to sit their arse down for the game.

My knees are aching reading this thread.

I juts love the irony in the picture in the BBC article about safe standing :-

Different legislative bodies

True but what good for the goose is good for the gander.

The atmosphere is shit in the top flight, nothing like it used to be.

It might be, but I think any survey needs more than 3 games in 2 seasons to be credible

Its not a might be it is, St Marys compared to the Dell is night and day.
