Would rather that Lallana sat this one out. Too much of a hate figure. I’m fucking convinced that the 6-1 cup defeat only started going their way after the home crowd sang really cuntish things about Lallana (that I didn’t sing meself and won’t repeat here). Nivea Boy played like a fucking demon afterward.

I’m not v.happy about this game tbh! Why is no-one doing anything? Seems to me that the authorities have basically organised a public rape, and now I’m hearing that the event is even being televised! How can that be right? Some of the players have got friends, family, young children etc. How will they feel, watching something like that?
You’ve got to be some kind of sick fuck to want to watch this IMO. I shall certainly be boycotting MOTD this week, I advise you all to do the same. If this sort of thing has to happen at all, it should certainly be behind “closed doors”.

Difficult game. Liverpool have been scoring loads but conceding quite a few as well. I like the sound of LITSL’s prediction, especially if we come back from 2 down again.

Think we could easily get roasted. Mane up against literally whoever we put at right-back is going to be 'effing terrifying.
Drop Clasie and put Hojbjerg in the midfield. Start with Boufal and let’s at least try to attack them. If we get our noses in front, sit back and can’t be counter-attacked we could manage to negate their pace. If we go a goal down and have to chase the game I think we’ll be exploited.
This will be the game when Mane launches his annual mid-season break, he’ll turn up with a small suitcase, a tourist guide to somewhere warm, and the first touch of a rapist.
Puel will have a tactical masterplan, it may be playing Yoshida on the right wing and Matt Targett as midfield hatchet man who will block Coutinho’s every shot - but despite that, I feel lucky.
We will create bugger all and score our only two attempts on target -

I am not confident and I always am. I have had this lot for the title since August, there is something about them, they have a crazy good forward line and they are enjoying their football, as well as having a togetherness. We are out of sorts, but if we could get a point I would be happy, then onwards and upwards in Europe.
Saying this, they have a pretty poor defence and if we can get back to our best at the back, then we could nick it. My best mate up here is a Liverpool fan and he thinks they will need 2 if they are going to win it as they always conceed.
The other good thing is he really thinks we are going to beat them. I think it is the case of thinking the worse of your own team.
They are on fire and the best team to watch in the premier league though, by far!
A thought for the pessimistic…
