Saints v Stoke drinks

Usual format this weekend I suggest. I will have a mate with me for his first visit to SMS so we will be on the train and thus arriving early.

I might reserve a table at the Rockstone. Who is out for pre-drinks?

Oh yes. Nice ordinary 3pm Saturday kick off too.

I’m up for drinks before but not after. God damned real life.

I’m up for it, if you will have me. Will be leaving early on the Saturday morning, dumping the kids at my sisters gaff in Bitterne, then heading over to the pub! Before (hopefully) but defiantly afterwards.

Be good to meet you Kevin.

I’m sorting out travel arrangements now, for here, mostly. I’m taking the new papmobile on it’s first long run. Just trying to convince ms pap that she doesn’t need a sixty quid hire car to do a six quid bus trip. That’s er, going well

I am up for drinks before and after.

It’s possible but not likely (non sitting-on-the-fence option for his papship: not attending).

Got an old school friend visiting on Friday so if she fancies coming down to meet you lot then I’m in. Or I could just arrange lunch at The Rockstone and ‘bump into’ you all.

Good man. We need a calming influence in the absence of Lou. Oh and you can’t miss two matchday drinks running obviously :smiling_imp:

PS my mate is a Geordie who very much enjoys a pint or three of Real Ale. He will looking for firm advice on the Rockstone’s rich offerings and thats not going to come from me clearly.

Old school friend visiting Friday! She’ll still be around Saturday!! Do tell us more Ant :lou_wink_2: :lou_wink_2:

I won’t be there BTW, Saturday matches are out for me, unless they’re late KO…

Ah, well I’ll do my best then.

No more to tell, so you can take that one on face value! I’m already very happily coupled up.

Must try my hardest to get there before the game then. I will leave at 7am! :lou_facepalm_2:

Potentially noteworthy - may be worth leaving the pub quite a bit earlier than normal as security checks are being heightened across the Premier League.

Extra 15 mins should cover it - if not, it’ll be a half-empty ground anyway.

I will leave at 06:45 then! Jeez!

…Will try and make a home game before season’s end - need to catch up with Weston Saint and Linford Saint as well - they need converting to the papside as well IMHO.

We are definitely worth it. Football might be good too!

Am discussing with my real ale drinking, newcastle supporting, mate the idea of getting to the Rockstone by about 12.15. What time are you locals rolling in?

12.14

5 hours 20 minutes my journey. It is going to be a swift pint for sure. I need to get to dump the kids off in Bitterne and get across to the old ‘Bevois Castle’. How do you lot get to the pub? Taxi? Will try to get my brother in law to drop me off I think.

Looks like I’m going to be a no show for this, sadly. Things have come up.
