Fantastic performance and great atmosphere tonight, thoroughly deserved that win and we could easily have had more goals. Ref was truly appalling. Very much enjoyed the post match chat with Lou on the subject of which of these recent games we had attended had been the most enjoyable?

winning at Arsenal last season in the cup, witht that goal from Clyne; or

the thrashing of Villa at home on the fnal day last season; or

Out fought them in every department. So pleased for Martina…sensational goal but Shane Long was the stand-out player for me…making Vardy runs throughout the game…ran the Arse back line ragged.
Ref…appaling and did my duty shouting at the early leavers…“how about staying to applaud your team off at the end?” One responded. my mate asked, “What does your team have to do to make you stay to the end?” He wittily?? replied “Pay me money” so we offered to have a whip-round for him…he disappeared and missed the last goal.

Ahhh…I think the game will be written-off as…as Wenger says…four lucky goals that should have been disallowed.
Funny how we won at Chelsea because of refereeing decisions, and now this lucky home win against Arsenal.
I’m glad the refs are on our side and doing us favours, I’d hate to think what it would be like if they weren’t.
What a game - that was so much fun! Saints sure give us some amazing games to reminisce over.
The team were brilliant - but even more so was Koeman. Tactical change and fixed all the problems we had for Tottenham. That’s the Saints I recognise!
And all the players that get most dissed, were the best - Long, Wanyama…even Ward Prowse had a good meaty game! I love watching Shane Long - well worth £12 million!!

Wenger is a miserable git, be magmanimous in victory and graceful in defeat, Moss let the Arsenal players do to Long what we did to them and he whinges?
Was the VvD goal disallowed for offside or was it the “foul” on Cech?
Nice part trip with Lou and pub with Fowllyd and Goat and nice to see Bucks outside the stadium.
On to West Ham, although I think the players will do well to match the same intensity, mind you we might not need it.

Just off to St. Mary’s to hand my swipecard in; it’s for the good of our season…
Drove the kids home to Hassocks yesterday evening so it was hard to check my phone for updates. Managed to switch on just as we got the first so that was ok. Returned after the 170 mile round trip to see the final result. Happy days! We have been making chances but the finishing has been poor recently. We are not a bad side and I have been expecting us to turn it on again, having said that not against the Arse! Good job by everyone from top to bottom. Lets hope that the confidence builds and we keep this up. Ron was right. The players need to work hard and keep up the pressure for 90 mins.

VvD given offside for his goal. He was not, he was level, but to be fair, Fonte and one other were offside and VvD was hidden between them. Lucky Arsenal

Davis was not offside in the build up to Cuco’s goal, he was level with one defender, so piss off Wenger

LK definitely brushed the ball for the corner leading to Fonte’s goal, so piss off Wenger

ok, so Shane did foul LK in the build up to his first goal. Accidently IMO but yes still a foul. But, there was no foul for his first half goal, disallowed, so again, piss off Wenger
So in summary, Happy New Year to everyone except Wenger who needs to man up and piss off. Please.

Indeed, Arsene wanted to moan about three of the six goals when in fact the defeat is his own fault for playing donkeys in the back four.
Mertesacker makes Tony Adams look like Ronaldo.
Get used to it Mourinho and Wenger you can’t rewrite history by moaning about it…it’s written by the victors.
