Saints vs Man City beers

Can’t make this one, but will do my best to make the Palace beers. But only if I can have another threesome with the Flyd Cat and SO5.

Will make both - and we shouldn’t let the fact that Palace is on a Sunday put us off from having a proper post-match end of season bash - South Western has become the traditional venue.

I’m certainly up for another threesome Bletch. Fowlydd will play hard to get but he’s gagging for it really

I’ll book the Monday off…

After the last piss-up when I left you and the genuflecting Fowly Double Dee round the back of the kebab shop in Eastleigh, he was gagging then too IIRC.

Table @ Rockstone booked from 2.30pm for 8. Optimistic me. I will be there shortly after 2. Cheers

Will be at both match and Rockstone - I’m on call right now, but a colleague has very kindly agreed to take the Sunday afternoon and evening off my hands.

And I’ll be there for Palace, pre-match, match, post-match. And I’ve booked the day off on the 16th. Yay!

I’d be wary enough about taking on our Tony Pulis.

It’s not so much the physical besting I’m sure he’ll dish out. I’m worried he’ll do that laugh afterwards.

Decided to stay in Liverpool and put up a kids playhouse, it does have a swing though, the traffic put me off and having to wait until Monday afternoon to then drive back up, down in a couple of weeks for the maypole dancing conference.

Can’t you make the Palace game bazza?

I am coming down for the Palace game. Staying on the for testimonial, probably going back Weds. If Bazza needs a lift for this, I can sort.

Yes I could I am not going to lie but I wont be going as I will be down the weekend after doing the family thing, if I had the time I would, I’ll be grumpy tomorrow as I hardly ever go and could have gone but needs must.

Cheers must alas I cant.

That’s a shame, Barrington.

If that had been me (two weekends on trot) I’d have just stayed the extra couple of days, but realise I’ve got far less in the way of commitments right now. Not easy being away from young kids at that age, if it’s even doable.

while you are swigging your cocktails and eating your pork scratchings I’ll be joining my mate on his walk from Wembley to The Dell then onto SMS.

I’m not stupid - I’m just joining him for the glory leg from Winchester to Saints.

Typical.

It’s the charity walk equivalent of goal hanging.

Bollocks. Had a prior obligation to meet a mate in Shirley today. Then marched straight down to St. Mary’s thinking it was a 4pm kickoff. Could’ve popped in for one at The Rockstone. Fool!

Good to see the gang today, including the returning Lou, but minus Ant (?). Bonus for me was bumping into a guy I last saw 6 years ago. Low point was not remembering the name of the beer I always order, to the amusement of the barman :lou_facepalm_2:.

It was excellent to catch up with everybody, especially Lou. The ale we were all quaffing was superb fare, a nice lubricant for all the singing that was to follow.
