Bwa-ha-ha. Sorry, way OT. Just think it’s funny that thanks to Optimus Trousers, we probably have more recent Steve Grant content than SaintsWeb

Signed or set-to-sign, Big Bad Bob?

P.S. Nice work with pap’s new DISCUSS button!

Have 50 bletch points and a hug.

* This yellow, round-headed person having a cerebral haemorrhage was brought to you in association with Poundland.

Why pay more? Well, I think we all know the answer to that.

See, I wonder whether the DISCUSS article is a good thing in conjunction with Tweets.

It basically facilitates threads based on nothing but 140 characters of conjecture.

Sorry, I just used that tweet as a basis for the news that I knew (from Twitter) :-

BREAKING: Sky Sources: West Brom agree fee of up to £8m for Hull defender James Chester. # SSNHQ

On the specific point, and to be fair to Big Bad Bob, the Chester to WBA is being trailed elsewhere as likely to happen (I haven’t seen it confirmed yet).

On the general point, no I think the facility to discuss a tweet is good, it’s up to the poster to determine how they describe the content of the tweet in their OP. A tweet described as conjecture may still have value for discussion, as long as everyone knows that.

I think it’s a good thing too, as long as you can put basis behind it. I was maybe a bit guilty of being a bit flippant about using it seems as I was breaking my [Discuss] cherry. Next time I’m sure I’ll last longer…

Love the new discuss button guys!

I’m glad we haven’t got him, certainly for the £10m they were talking about when he was linked with us

According to posts on the other place from MLG we were never in for him!

who knows? I’m not sure why MLG would know, he just complies data for game. It’s difficult to know what to believe with all the rumours. I read again today that we’re after vlaar, even though rob has said he’s not interested and the bloke is out for four months.

If this bloke really has chosen West Brom over us then perhaps we’ve had a lucky escape - you’d have to question his decision-making ability for starters.

Trouble is everyone knows we are looking for centre backs so they probably link us out of laziness. Hull could also have hinted that we were after him to hike up the price a bit. Who knows? I will believe we are in for someone when someone from the club says we are.
