To post off-topic on an on-topic thread which is marked off topic, i have to post off topic + off topic, which is on-topic
Now I’ve got to post fkn off-topic on an off-topic thread marked off-topic, which is i think erm off-topic + off-topic+ off-topic which i think is back to off-topic again.
I don’t like to grass obv beltch, but you know when you said everyone had to go back through all their posts and read them again + look them selfs in mirror? I know for fact tokyos didn’t do it.
I’m srs tho. He didn’t even fkn try. He didn’t even go back and read one fkn post! Why should he get away with not doing his homework all the time? Is that fair on the rest of the class?
I didn’t think it applied to me as I don’t think I mentioned school dinners once on that whole dumb thread. I thought it was just the angar school dinners team that had to do the mirror looking?
My advice, from a PR perspective if nothing else, would be to not make executive decisions on a thread when you’re one of the main protagonists, even if the decision seems completely appropriate. Particularly if you want to lose the image of being the landlord.
Sadly most serious discussions on an Internet Forum turn very quickly into serious arguments between half a dozen (at most) protagonists all with previous history of personal antipathy.
They take over and others relevent posts are swamped and the same points of the argument are repeated until the topic gets locked, often 30 pages too late.
Lock when it should be and the antagonists will complain you’re stifling discussion, when in reality none is taking place.
