Rather than using Cuba as an example, even though it links nicely to the heels, perhaps North Korea would have been more insulting?
You could have suggested that the site is run by a beardy and all-powerful Kim Jong-un?
Surrounded by fawning acolytes, impervious to alternative opinion, dressed in comedy clothes from another era while overseeing random missile tests as he prepares for a full assault against capitalism, the decline of social housing, the EU, world poverty, and anyone who disagrees.

Thanks RB, I was thinking more about the famous socialist promising free speech, elections etc then getting into power, discovering they like it a little too much and then spend the next 60 years clinging on to it and backtracking on everything he had said previously. I guess to some extent we must be programmed to do so, so I understand your Mulderesque / Skullyesque search for the smoking gun, the shredded piece of Sotoniansā notepaper, the DNA test that proves exactly what I did or didnāt do to your mum all those years ago, but in this instance youāre better off looking for cockup and not conspiracy, son.
Truth is, since papās rejigging of the ownership / steering of Sotonians, the āownersā havenāt actually managed to meet.
Sad state of affairs, but true.
Some of us donāt go to home games because weāre closet Pompey fans, some of us arrange meet ups on our daughters birthday, some of us live oop North and RaleighBoy only drinks hot chocolate.

Thanks dad, as I said I am not fussed as the wind-up option is also favourable. I was just highlighting 2 things 1) In spite of not being able to meet up, there now seems to me a mod moderating the free speech that this forum was ābuilt onā. Changes in the constitution should be a Soviet thing no? I guess not as I have been informed it is a management issue. Guess the Soviet are lower than the management and not one in the same? 2) By highlighting this I was not asking to be a mod as was inferred by the management. This was just another diversion by the manager.
