Got a large bag of chewie sweets ready for any brave enough to ring the door bell and wait for an answer. The dog’s likely to frighten them off…I’ll give them another half an hour then I’m starting on the chewie sweets.
Been feeding the little darlings all night, so polite as well (and no I’m not being sarcastic.
Now going to the pub for a disco as :-
Think I might find it hard to drink let alone hold a pint…

I am at my mums at the moment. I do not know what arrangements she made. It could go either way really; she’s either got sweets for them or will shout “who the fuck is that now?” at any knock of the door.
My mum’s a bit like Nan Taylor in the Catherine Tate Show.

Success rate 100% so far. Dentistry and NHS knock-on savings, all down to me.
Just took my 3 year old trick or treating for the first time - she absolutely loved it. Amazing what effort some people go to, especially those that don’t have kids.
Now to eat all her sweets now she’s in bed.

Both my younger ones dressed up and we went to the Carlisle Halloween and fireworks night… Was really good, once my boy got over being scared by his own costume!

Mine arose since last year when some shitbags smashed the kids’ pumpkins on my car. But have to admit, heard some little ones walking past with their parents tonight, saying “there’s not many houses along here Mum” and felt awww too.
There were a lot of fireworks displays up here tonight and the big Carlisle one as well. So the trick or treat was thin on the ground, but saying that there was some pretty good effort!
