Good pix - thanks for posting

Aaah, the old ice stating ring - I learnt how not to skate there. Do you know when the above photo was taken Sfcsim?
Good photos - well worth the struggle to upload them.

The ice skating would have been 1988, that it closed. They started knocking down the same day. People turned up like normal, to see it being knocked down, without prior warning.

I have no idea where this is? Anyone?
But this was the same place about 30 years ago!
Burgess Road, up by the library facing down towards Swaythling.
Here is the library late 80â and more familiar with me, as I used to wait for the bus here after school at Cantell.
Right, I have 100âs of pictures, but I am not sure if people are even looking? Also I want to check to make sure I am not clogging up the site, with pictures.
May post a few tomorrow, after I have had the all clear from Pap.

Lord knows what a sign that big signalled.

YepâŚSpring RoadâŚlooking towards the crossroad intersection with Deacon Road and Merryoak Road. Itâs a view taken with a telephoto lens so the view is foreshortened.
