Well, I am in Southampton, sitting at mama’s, ready to go to the football. I’d be disappointed if we don’t pick up all three points. A couple of my bluenose mates assured me that I would have a good 90 minutes. Let us hope that they are correct.

I might have preferred to see Romeu and Wanyama defensively, Davis in a more creative role, with Long and/or Rodriguez to come on later in the game.
Still, I think Everton have their own problems, so I fancy us today.
Clean sheet too.

Well taken, but don’t know how they go so many so far forward so quickly.
I think Kone is proving difficult to pick up. He’s drifting wide and then back centrally.
He will leave space doing this though.

I would take off Shane Long + replace him with JWP, and sub Steven Davis for Ward-Prowse. I would also think about getting James Ward-Prowse on the field, if I can, but maybe just for the last 20 mins cos I don’t want to use all 3 subs so early.
