[spoilers] Star Wars : The Force Awakens

Look, you can be pretty sure that Han banged Leia because they have a kid together.

One cannot say the same of Luke.

Why are you trying to take this from me, pap? He deffo banged her. You can tell someone banged her cos of how she was walking at the end, and it wasn’t Hands Solo because he didn’t bang her till the next movie, or the one after that, I forget which. Who do you think banged her, Chewbacca or someone? Be srs pap, she wouldn’t be able to walk at all, if Chewbacca had banged her.

Also, Emo Darth Vader is prob Luke’s son. That is why his face looks like it does. She prob only banged Hands when she found out she was pregnant so she could have Cover Story.

Edit: Added more evidences as above.

It’s not the banging you have to worry about anyway. Foreplay with robo fingers is prob why she decided to go shag Han in the first place. Plus prob explains walking issue bear mentioned. One finger, one thumb one … you get the idea, is no fun. When the fingerer has the hand from terminator, the fingeree will always have a few days of walking issues.

I dunno, Bear. I get a bit of a we’ve just shagged vibe from them, but it is very ambiguous and you would think Luke would have stuck his hand on her bum if they’d just done the nasty.

I had no idea that the Skywalker clan had its roots in Portsmouth!!

yeah it’s rife with it BTripz. I also heard that Darth Vaders banged Luke’s mum, and also, when he had her on Death Star, you can’t tell me Darth Vaders didn’t bang Leia, or at least fiddle with her a bit.

I bet your experience of watching Star Wars is a bit like when an uber book nerd watches a film adaptation which has left loads of key background information out.

The only real difference is that the book fans are comparing it with actual printed material, whereas you’re just measuring Star Wars up to the lurid fantasies your ursine mind has concocted. It’s a valid approach; bit unorthodox tho’.

Bear has family in East Anglia, he speaks from experience. I trust bear’s word on this.

When watching a film, you’ve got to keep an eye out for subtext, is all I’m saying. It’s an anagram of butt sex for a reason.

(That ones for Beltch. Ur welcome.)

That’s amazingly well done.

Isn’t it just.

Ten new titles, sitting on the wall…

Star Warsfans could be treated to a whole new level of immersion in a Galaxy far, far away, as Disney are reported to be currently planning up to 10 more releases following The Force Awakens.

Following Episode VII’s triumphant release in December studio bosses are already said to be planning a slew of new titles under the franchise, as well as character spin-offs.

And speaking to The Sun in Los Angeles, director and executive producer J.J. Abrams teased fans by revealing the team behind the franchise revitalization are discusing some very ‘cool’ things.

Speaking to the newspaper, he dropped the biggest hint yet that that Disney are planning on pushing the boat out, saying: 'There are some really cool things being discussed.

‘It is very exciting to see how it is being put together.’

But, as usual, the director remained tight lipped on any actual details surrounding what the films could even be about.

Abrams’ teasing of multiple new films was also backed up by a source, who revealed the success of Force Awakens had given Disney bosses a lot to ‘think about’.

‘So many characters’ back-stories can now be brought to life,’ the insider explained. ’ When these ideas came from George Lucas 40 years ago, technology was lagging behind.’

And with the first Star Wars spin-off Rogue One due in December, it seems the number beyond what is already touted - two more trilogy films and a further three spin-offs - could be increased.

With Episode VIII already in production at London’s Pinewood Studios, the film has been slated for a 2017 release - appearing to confirm Disney’s plans to stagger year-on-year releases in the genre.

And while little is known regarding Episode VIIII it is slated for release in 2019 to coincide with the Han Solo and Boba Fett movies hitting cinemas either side of it in 2018 and 2020 - both with the potential to garner their own slew of sequels.

The exciting news for fans of all things The Force come just weeks after Rian Johnson revealed a sneak peak into Episode VIII, by releasing a short clip of the shoot in progress.

The snippet shows Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker facing off against Daisy Ridley’s Rey on a grassy bank, on an unkown planet.

Following a brief confrontation the scenes is interrupted by a man in sunglasses sitting behind a camera who says, ‘Cut!’ - the man is Rian Johnson, the director of the new film.

He seems to be in a jolly mood and is surrounded by crew. He then says, ‘Beautiful’ and then an image of the number VIII is seen in bright yellow type over a starry scape, before the director announces: ‘Ladies and gentleman welcome to Episode VIII.’ The crowd roars.

Yellow letters pop up again that read, ‘In production’.

Blu Ray out in April - can’t find it in 3d yet but will get that one if I can - looks very nice indeed

Could have downloaded it but have the Blu Ray coming on the 18th - excited to watch it again

Can’t find it released in 3D so presume they’ll do that in the quest for more money later on.

Watched the Rogue One trailer many times along with the IGN analysis and getting more hyped for that with each watch.

My kids Jylo Ren outfit is coming along nicely - we are going to Star Wars Celebration in the summer. :)))) Hoping to see some more bits from Rogue 1 then

A family member of mine is in episode 8. Getting excited hearing about fights in casinos with droids and the strange island that luke lives on with its weird inhabitants (and yoda of course.)

It is nice to be able to look forward to Star Wars again, and not be super concerned that it’s all going to be pile of arse. Respect to JJ and crew. Force Awakens is a fine movie, and although you could nitpick at a few things (e.g. I don’t know how it is that Han can hyperspace inside the Starkiller’s shield the way he did), you’re mostly just sat there genuinely enjoying it.

Think Rey may already be my favourite SW character ever.
